Not really into the Bear culture, but I’m total partial to Panda genuine licorice.
Sometimes when I can’t get my paws on the Finnish black-gold Panda, I’m known to default to the Deutsch Haribo gummi Goldbaren junk.
Fueling the Panda versus Bear debate… gelatin, a key ingredient in most gummi bears, may harbor prions. Prions are misshapen proteins that cause BSE / Mad Cow Disease in cattle and CJD in humans. Comparatively, in addition to the many traditional medicinal benefits of licorice root, recent studies show digestion of licorice stimulates the production of interferon.
