July 11th is 7-11 Day in the United States. During this marketing day, participating 7-Eleven stores offer the first 1,000 customers a free 7.11oz Slurpee with choice of any flavor. It is unclear if the independent 7-Eleven stores in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area (see prior July 4th entry) are able to also offer this marketing promotion.
Note that Australia celebrates “7-11 Day” on November 7th, thereby a name-change of 11-7 Day is necessitated.
